On March 10, 2026, the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova hosted a meeting of Working Group No. 2, “Facilitating the Green Transition and Cross-Border Trade,” which brought together representatives of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova, the business community, and relevant institutions.
Discussions focused on the presentation of the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) and the “Customs Decisions” platform, tools designed to simplify customs procedures and increase transparency and predictability for economic operators.
The event also provided an open forum for dialogue between authorities and the business community regarding the modernization of customs procedures, the digitization of services, and their alignment with European Union standards.
