EBA event organised for the HR community

HR - PRACTICAL ASPECTS

European Business Association Moldova #from_theory_2_practice event organized for the EBA HR community, with a focus on topics such as:
- Labour Code - an update on legislative changes
- EU integration - main directives to be implemented in the next 5 years
- GDPR in HR policies and procedures
- Foreigners regime - private sector practices

The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to explore and understand the latest changes in labour law, GDPR and labour import.

Presentations and Speakers:
The latest legislative updates to labour law:
Mr. Eduard Gurin, Chair of the EBA Human Capital Committee and Associate at Vernon David Law Firm, provided a detailed presentation on recent changes and their impact on employers and employees.

GDPR:
We had the honor of hearing from Sergiu Bozianu, Committee Co-Chair on Digitization, Trade and Regulatory Framework of the EBA and Director at @Data Protection Law Firm, Dorina Plucci, Personal Data Protection Officer at Moldcell, and Sergiu Gogu, Human Resources Manager at SEBN MD, who discussed personal data protection and compliance with GDPR regulations.

Foreigners Regime:
Oxana Russu, Head of the Admission and Documentation Directorate in the General Inspectorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Serghei Baziuc, Human Resources Manager at Efes Vitanta Moldova Brewery S.A, Liudmila Popescu, Human Resources Manager at Golden Piglet SRL (Pukoven), and Ilona Josanu, Human Resources Manager at Lear Corporation, shared challenges and solutions related to the management of foreign employees.
