In the context of the European Integration agenda, the implementation of the New Computerized Transit System and the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Common Transit Convention are a priority. Mr. Michael Rathje and Mrs. Evdoxia Genkomsaki from DG TAXUD gave a presentation on the functioning of the bank guarantee system in the EU.
The event was attended by representatives from the banking sector, insurance companies, and other interested/interested actors involved in the guarantee process to discuss the challenges and the level of preparedness in adapting to the new guarantee system.
