On February 4, 2026, Working Group No. 6 "Dezvoltarea pieței muncii" held a meeting to present and promote the European Youth Guarantee initiative, which aims to support the integration of young people (up to 29 years of age) into the labor market.

The following topics were discussed during the meeting:

• the European framework of the Youth Guarantee and the recommendations of the EU Council;
• good implementation practices in Lithuania;
• Ukraine's experience in implementing the initiative;
• the situation of NEETs in the Republic of Moldova;
• the role of public institutions and social partners in facilitating young people's access to employment;
• the need to strengthen information, guidance, and vocational training services.

The discussions were complemented by presentations from international experts and a question and answer session and exchange of best practices, focusing on adapting European mechanisms to the national context.

The EBA Moldova (European Business Association) was represented at the meeting by Sandra Dolghii, Policy and Advocacy Manager.

EBA will continue to support initiatives that contribute to creating a favorable environment for employment, training, and professional integration of young people in the Republic of Moldova.
