Closing the 2025 Fiscal Year and Tax Updates for 2026 - A Seminar for the Accounting Community

The accounting community gathered at the annual event organized by the European Business Association, a seminar titled "Closing the 2025 Fiscal Year and Tax Updates for 2026."

This event has already become a tradition and brought together representatives from the business community, government agencies, and the tax consulting community to analyze the latest legislative developments.

The event, now in its 14th edition, offered participants the opportunity to discuss directly with experts from the State Tax Service of the Republic of Moldova and consulting firms the main issues regarding corporate income tax, payroll taxes, VAT application, and transfer pricing requirements, as well as their implications for the 2026 fiscal year.

The discussions highlighted the importance of clarity and predictability in the tax framework, as well as the need for ongoing dialogue between authorities and the business community to ensure the proper application of tax legislation.

We thank the State Tax Service for its collaboration and consistent openness, as well as for joining us every year at this meeting dedicated to the business community.
