Mariana Rufa, EBA CEO, participated in the Regional Advocacy Network Annual Meeting 2025, held in Sarajevo and organized by Helvetas in partnership with the PRAGG BiH Project and the Regional Advocacy Network (RAN). The delegation from Moldova included Carina Turcin, Advocacy and Policy Manager of the OPTIM Project; Ion Lupan, Head of the Secretariat of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of Moldova; and Mariana Rufa, CEO of EBA Moldova.
This three days event brought together advocacy professionals, policymakers, civil society organizations, and stakeholders from Eastern Europe, fostering regional collaboration to strengthen advocacy efforts. Throughout the event, participants explored innovative methods for identifying, researching, and addressing critical issues while underscoring the importance of protecting civic engagement as a cornerstone of the rule of law.
EBA Moldova extends its appreciation to Helvetas and PRAGG for providing a platform to share experiences, gain insights from regional leaders, and strengthen the bonds that support active civil society involvement and effective advocacy in Moldova and beyond. In this context, EBA Moldova shared its best practices and expertise on policy and advocacy initiatives, as well as accomplishments achieved so far.
