On July 5th , EBA Moldova hosted a visit of the EU Commission representatives, Mrs Alina Boiciuc, Deputy Head of Unit DG Trade and Alberto Fernandez Diez, Policy coordinator for Moldova and Ukraine DG Trade.
The meeting was aimed at presenting the key sustainable trade related priorities expressed by EBA Members and business community in the context of AA/ DCFTA implementation. In this regard EBA has ponted out the focus to be made by the current government in promoting legal ammendment on the areas such as food safety, ensurance sector, energy sector, waste management, combating monopols and addressing a series of competitions related matters by the current government. The disscussion tackled upon labour and health safety related legislations and practices that have to be addressed by the Moldovan authority in the transparent manner.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Vasile Plamadeala, Trade officer, EU Delegation in the RM. The meeting was aimed at presenting the key sustainable trade related priorities expressed by EBA Members and business community in the context of AA/ DCFTA implementation.
