On September 20, 2013 the EBA Moldova met with Mr. Ionita, head of the Parliamentary Commission for economy budget and finance to address the issue of acquisition of agricultural products from individuals.
The meeting was attended by 10 exporting and processing companies and representatives of Ministry of Finance, Tax Service and Customs Service, Ministry of Agriculture and representatives of the Parliament Commission for economy, budget and finance.
EBA has presented its proposals for amending the existing legislation regarding the procedure of acquisition. The proposals were broadly accepted by all the stakeholders. The agreement achieved was to develop a draft law and discuss it in the Parliament over the upcoming Parliament session.
