On October 7 2013 EBA participated in a meeting held by the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Victor Barbaneagra. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Finance involving the participation of private sector EBA and AmCham. The goal of the meeting was to present and discuss issues identified by the business associations in the Tax and Customs Policy Objectives for 2014-2016 set by the Ministry of Finance.
In this regard EBA had the occasion to list the policy proposals as well as the legal initiatives aimed at simplifying certain procedures and reducing costs faced by businesses on domestic market, developed under the EBA Tax and Customs Committee. The discussion platform provided the opportunity to the participating companies to explain their challenges regarding certain tax and customs policy decisions developed by the Ministry of Finance.
