National Bank of Moldova approved the appointment of Mr. Antoine GABIZONas the new President of the Management Board - CEO of CB ”MOBIASBANCA – Groupe Société Générale” S.A.
During a 33 year career with Société Générale, Mr. Gabizon has gained an important and diversified experience in banking, working on the French market as well as on various emerging markets and managing subsidiaries’ teams in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Romania and Georgia in the capacity of CEO.
In his new role, Mr. Antoine Gabizon will use his deep knowledge to accompany customers in their growth and to further develop sustainable relationships with international financial partners.
Biography
Born in Paris, France, Mr. Antoine Gabizon began his career within Société Générale in 1983, holding different managerial positions in France and abroad, including eight years as CEO in numerous subsidiaries of the group.
Mr. Gabizon holds a degree in business administration from Université Paris-Dauphine, France (1978) and a degree in Economics and Finance, Institute of Political Studies in Paris, France (1983).
A subsidiary of Groupe Société Générale, CB ”MOBIASBANCA – Groupe Société Générale” S.A. is Moldova’s fourth-largest commercial bank, serving over 130,000 active clients in the SME and retail sectors through a network of 54 branches.
