EBA Moldova continues its efforts towards tax optimization, actively contributing to the identification of solutions for a more attractive and permissive tax framework.
On December 13, the EBA team participated in a working meeting with Victoria Belous - Minister of Finance, representatives of the State Tax Service (SFS) and Mr. Roman Ladus, Expert of the Economic Council, where the reform proposals developed by EBA following the tax procedure mapping exercise were discussed.
The exercise was carried out in collaboration with SAIPH Consulting House and the Economic Council at the Moldovan Prime Minister's Office, with the financial support of OPTIM Project, Helvetas Moldova, Swiss Cooperation in Moldova.
At the discussions, EBA Moldova was represented by:
- Mariana Rufa, Executive Director of EBA;
- Cretu Nicolae, Partner SAIPH Consulting House and EBA expert;
- Sandra Dolghii, Tax Policy Manager EBA.
The proposals presented aim to simplify tax processes, reduce administrative burdens and strengthen business confidence in the tax system.
