Optimizing food safety procedures - an important step for business!

The European Business Association Moldova together with the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova organized today, 13 December 2024, the public consultation dedicated to the presentation of the proposals developed in the food safety mapping process. The event was supported by OPTIM Helvetas project and benefited from the participation of experts Andrei Balan and Vitalie Porcescu.

Main topics addressed:

  • Implementation of the Integrated Information System "e-ANSA" for product traceability and reduction of bureaucracy;
  • Simplification of veterinary certification requirements for greater efficiency;
  • Extending the validity of licenses to 3 years, reducing the administrative burden for businesses;
  • Standardization of construction and reconstruction processes according to national guidelines approved by the National Agency for Food Safety.
