Tax and Customs Policy 2027 – discussed on the EBA Tax and Customs Committee platform.
On June 16, 2026, EBA Moldova organized the meeting of the Tax and Customs Committee, dedicated to examining the draft law on amending certain normative acts regarding the simplification of tax and customs legislation, known as the “Tax and Customs Reform 2027” project.
During the meeting, EBA members analyzed the main amendments proposed by the Ministry of Finance and their impact on the activities of companies. The discussions covered important topics such as the amended tax rates, excise policy, the taxation of interest income, VAT, income tax, reporting obligations, VAT refund and other issues relevant to the business environment.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify priority issues for the business community and consolidate a common position of the EBA, which will be presented during the public consultations organized by the Ministry of Finance.
EBA Moldova appreciates the active involvement of members in the consultation process and the technical contributions made, which are essential for promoting a clearer, predictable and business-friendly tax and customs framework.
