Possibilities of optimizing the invoicing system in Republic of Moldova

On 7^th of February, as a result of the requests from EBA members, EBA organised a round table with the proposal to discuss some possibilities regarding the optimization of invoicing system in Republic of Moldova. Representatives of the Ministry of Finance also attended the discussion.   

The participants shared their perspectives on subjects such as the necessity of keeping the invoices/fiscal invoices in the list of standardized forms, the possibility of utilizing the semi-automatic process of billing, implementing the process of “self-billing”, applying the simplified invoices for small numbers, as well as other aspects. This discussion represented a basis for chief accountants and financial managers to assess the benefits and risks of introducing changes.
