On June 5, 2025, EBA Moldova, in partnership with EY and maib, organized the seminar “VAT in the context of Moldova's preparation for accession to the European Union,” an event that brought together representatives of the Ministry of Finance, tax experts, accounting professionals, and members of the business community.
The topics discussed included:
- Key provisions of the EU VAT Directive
- Necessary changes to national legislation
- Case studies on intra-Community supplies, triangular transactions, and services
- Practical implications and challenges during the transition period
