On March 14, 2025, the EBA Community met at maib Park together with representatives of the authorities to discuss the priorities of the business environment in the context of the initiative of the Ministry of Finance to collect proposals for the amendment of the Tax Code No. 1163/1997, the Customs Code No. 95/2021 and related implementing acts.
The agenda of the event included interventions from:

* Mrs. Olga Golban, Director of the State Tax Service
* Mr. Dorian Istratii, MP, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance
* Ms. Mariana Rufa, CEO EBA Moldova and other private and public sector representatives
Among the main topics discussed:
- VAT refund and deduction of advances
- VAT input VAT system for SMEs
- Elimination of unequal treatment in the Tax Code
- Tax support for green investments and waste management
- Adjustment of VAT rates for agri-food products
- Fair taxation in the recycling sector
