The national comprehensive analysis report on the green transition in the Republic of Moldova, developed within the Green Agenda for Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, was presented at the launch event on June 11.
The report assesses the country's progress, existing challenges, and development opportunities in key thematic areas such as climate, energy, buildings and renovation, industry and the circular economy, zero pollution, farm to consumer, transport, and biodiversity. The report summarises the key findings of the research with the aim of providing strategic guidance for setting priorities and accelerating reforms at the level of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

EBA Moldova was represented by Eugen Cozmulici, Policy & Advocacy Manager, who reiterated the need to adjust the legal framework for all state-owned and private companies in order to ensure the comprehensive implementation of green policies, from the planning and budgeting stage to the implementation of green economy projects and their proper reporting.
