On January 26, EBA organized the working meeting between EBA Members and Mr. Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Moldova.
More than 40 EBA member companies participated at the discussions.
In the discussions, the business community addressed the following topics:
- The need to review the list of social products and the margin calculation methodology;
- Urgent promotion of legislative projects related to digitization and e-commerce;
- Revising/defining the secondary framework of L 231 regarding internal trade;
- Supporting the concept of IT Parks;
- Revising and increasing the quotas for the import of pork from the EU;
- Canceling the taxes related to the mobile phone industry;
- EBA's support and involvement in the deregulation process and the simplification of financial reporting;
- The need to expand financing through ODA and AIPA for larger companies that invest in technology and innovations.
