DG Sante and DG Trade visit Moldova

In the period 22-23^rd of June, the representatives of DG Sante and DG Trade of the European Commission came on an official mission to Chisinau. On this occasion, a common working meeting was organised between the Delegation of the European Union, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Ministry of Economy, National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) and representatives of the private sector.

Within the meeting, aspects related to the external trade activity of Republic of Moldova, in the context of the Association Agreement and DCFTA commitments between the European Union and Republic of Moldova were discussed. EBA touched upon some issues related to food safety and matters regarding the involvement of ANSA in complying food safety principles.
