Between 24–28 of March, EBA, with the financial support of the AJE Program – Economic Journalism Academy (an initiative supported by EBA members) and the OPTIM project, Helvetas Moldova, is organizing a working visit to Brussels.

The main objective of the visit is to promote and support the European integration path of the Republic of Moldova, with a particular focus on the concrete implementation of the Growth Plan. In this context, the aim is to advance reforms in key areas and stimulate sustainable economic development based on increasing added value in the real sector of the economy.

The agenda of the first day included important meetings with Mr. Dan Barna, Member of the European Parliament, with BusinessEurope – the main business advocacy organization representing companies from 35 European countries, and with Mr. Luc Pierre De Vigne, Deputy Managing Director at the European External Action Service (EEAS).

All officials reiterated their strong support for the Republic of Moldova in its most important endeavor – integration into the European Union – a process that opens real prospects for sustainable business development and for the country’s socio-economic progress.
