On February 16, with grant support by USAID and the Swedish Government, EBA held another meeting with the biggest sectorial business support organisations in Moldova. The five BSOs (APIUS, ANTRIM, FSEA, ATIC, ONVV) had a focused coaching session, delivered by EBA, on how to elaborate and conduct lobby and advocacy activities.
As a result of the needs analysis and individual consultations with each association, EBA discovered a lack of a systemic and structured approach to lobby and advocacy. This coaching session enabled the BSO teams to learn to coordinate the lobby function in the associations, touching upon the process, input competences, financial resources, content, and others. EBA will continue sharing its expertise and enable the private sector to engage in an efficient dialogue with the authorities.
This event is organised by EBA with the support of Moldova Competitiveness Project, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The content does not necessarily reflect the views of USAID, the United States Government or Sida and the Government of Sweden.
