On April 7, the “Polish Business Days in the Republic of Moldova “conference took place, an informative and matchmaking event for Polish and Moldovan companies.
The official panel was composed of His Excellency Artur Michalski Ambassador of Poland, Vitalie Iurcu, Deputy Minister of Economy, Agata Chrsnitz-Dobrowolska, Advisor to the Minister of External Affairs of Poland, Grzegorz Kapusta, Vice Marshal of the Lublin voivodeship, Andrzej Kita, Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Lublin, andAgnieszka Gasior-Mazur, President of the Lublin Business Club. They have presented the benefits that Moldova offers to investors, have presented the specificity of the region in Poland in which they are operating, and some partnership perspectives. Also, the 22 representatives of the Polish companies that came for the matchmaking were introduced.
EBA Executive Director, Mariana Rufa, moderated the event, underlining that Moldovan companies had expressed interest for Poland, and mentioned the visits which EBA members would soon undertake. These visits are meant to ensure cooperation for both parts, the collaboration between agricultural producers (grapes, dried fruits, nuts, canned food) with retail chains and wholesalers being in high demand. She also made a presentation for Polish companies, in which she explained the list of the necessary documents for launching a business in Moldova, as well as the most recent reforms that are meant to improve the business environment.
