On 29th November 2017, EBA members participated in a meeting with representatives of the National Centre for Personal Data Protection. The goal of the meeting was to discuss the recommendations included in the EBA Position Paper on the new draft law amending the personal data protection legislation. The discussions between EBA members and representatives of the Centre will continue at an additional, second session dedicated to the matter.
The main objectives of the EBA recommendations on the draft law pursue the correct transposition in the national legislation of the EU data protection rules (GDPR) in line with a reasonable and balanced impact on the private sector in Moldova.
