On 23rd of November 2017, EBA participated at a regular meeting at the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova with the Accredited EU Counsellors, focused on Business Environment Update faced by international and local businesses operating in Moldova.
Thomas Moser, EBA President and Ecaterina Chirilenco, EBA Lobby and Policy Manager delivered a presentation, reiterating the key issues impacting the business environment in Moldova, such as: political and macro-economic stability, rule of law, legal and tax framework, infrastructure in energy and transport sectors, financial services and human resources.
EBA will monitor closely the situation on all these issues and encouraged the representatives of EU and EU members states diplomatic missions to Moldova to take further actions as well in this regard.
