EBA's Tax Committee - meeting of the accountants' community
On March 6, 2024, the meeting of the community of accountants took place. During the meeting of the Taxation Committee of the European Business Association held, we discussed the challenges faced by the business environment and the proposals to amend the tax legislation, as well as the establishment of directions for the Tax Policy in 2025. T
he committee members discussed several concrete changes to the tax legislation, aimed at simplifying processes, reducing the tax burden and increasing transparency and predictability, as well as the proposals for the Tax Policy in 2025, with an emphasis on supporting economic growth, were also established sustainable and promoting innovation and competitiveness.
These proposals aim not only at adjustments to fees and taxes, but also at initiatives to encourage investment in key sectors such as green technology and digitalisation.
Through these discussions and proposals, the EBA Taxation Committee demonstrates its commitment to a prosperous and sustainable business environment where companies can contribute to economic development and create value for society.
