On 29th of September, EBA Moldova participated at the International Trade Facilitation Forum - Response to blockade of transport corridors from Ukraine.
The goal of the event was to present the status quo as well as to identify solutions to ensure trade facilitation between Ukraine, Moldova and EU.
EBA Moldova involvement in addressing the issue by developing a common letter of EBA MOLDOVA AND EBA UKRAINE to EU Parliament and EU COMMISSION, as well as all the diplomatic representations in which concrete solutions and proposals were listed to address the issue. Additionally - a series of technical meetings were held with key officials from the RM and EU on urgent actions aimed at trade facilitation.
Mariana Rufa, EBA CEO participated at the event by presenting the EBA Community position as well as the actions that need to be addressed to facilitate trade between Moldova, Ukraine and EU.
