EBA Moldova participates at the Civil Society Forum co-organised by DG Trade and Ministry of Economy

On 8th of July EBA Moldova participated at the Civil Society Forum co-organised by DG Trade and Ministry of Economy. The Forum pursued the identification of common solutions aiming the proper implementation of DCFTA provisions in trade and sustainable development, so that to have a positive impact on the business environment and on environment, labor market etc.

EBA Moldova was one of the co-organisers of the Solid Waste Management panel, a subject which was proposed at the last panel of this forum.

Representatives of Ministry of Environment, that have participated as speakers during the respective panel, presented the draft law regarding the solid waste management as well as the preliminary framework for extended producer responsibility.

Mariana Rufa, executive director of EBA Moldova, presented the effort of EBA in the context of elaboration of legislation in the domain of solid waste management, through the creation of a sectorial committee and of a position paper that will be discussed in details with Ministry of Environment as well as other decision factors.
