On May 25th EBA Moldova participated in the meeting with HE Mr. Valeriu Lazar, VPM of the RM and the business community of the RM, an event organized by MIEPO and Ministry of Economy.
The event was attended by almost 60 companies.
The objective of the event was to present the current situation in the real sector of economy, existing trends and future perspectives, as well as to create an open dialogue with local and foreign businesses in Moldova.
In advance of the event, EBA together with PM office for attracting investments encouraged the biggest foreign and local businesses operating in Moldova to express their views on the existing business climate and point out the pending issues on doing business in Moldova.
Based on the feed back received from almost 40 companies, a brief analysis was developed and presented to HE VPM Valeriu Lazar and to Ministry of Economy staff for consideration under the immediate legal amendments ongoing in the ministry of Economy. (please find the analysis attached)
