Over the period of 14th – 26th of March EBA participates in the EU Commission Project East Invest II implemented by the Eurochambres. The goal of the project is to share best experience in the area of Business support organization management and development in the Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Moldova).
In the context of the EU Commission priorities related to SMEs development and internationalization – Business support organizations (BSO) play an important role ensuring their value added through supporting SMEs and private sector in general through private public dialogue, lobby and advocacy activities and a wide range of business support services. Considering the underexplored potential among Eastern Partnership countries in this regard – East Invest Project is aimed at enhancing the capacities of BSOs within 6 countries by sharing the best practical experience and enhancing the capacities of BSOs to serve better the private sector and ensure a continuous support under the reform agenda of the Governments and an easier access onto EU Markets.
In this regard EBA Moldova was invited as a speaker to share its best practices in the area of lobby and advocacy and business support services, especially under the Association agreement and DCFTA signed with EU and the support provided to private sector.
