On Friday, 29th of November, Romanian Embassy in Chișinău organized a reception on the occasion of National Day of Romania. The event was honored by the President of Romania, Traian Băsescu and the President of Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti. The two Heads of States have congratulated all the Romanians on the occasion of the 1st of December, as well as the authorities of Republic of Moldova for the success achieved at Vilnius through the initialling of the Association Agreement and of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. This event has also marked the re-launching of Romanian TV post TVR on the media space of Republic of Moldova.
In this context, the Romanian Embassy in Chișinău and the European Business Association came with the initiative of organizing a wine-tasting of Moldovan wines. As such, nine domestic producers, representatives of the most well known brands, had the possibility of presenting their wines to a wide audience represented by public personalities, guests from Romania, members of diplomatic corps. The guests appreciated the quality and variety of Moldavian wines, and the wine makers could establish contacts for future collaboration. A presentation of Moldavian wines was recently hosted by the Palace of Romanian Parliament.
