Optimization of tax procedures - a priority of EBA Moldova in order to create a more attractive and permissive business environment.
The EBA supports the initiative of Mr. Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, related to business deregulation, implemented in collaboration with the Economic Council at the Prime Minister's Office, with the financial support of OPTIM Project, Helvetas Moldova, Swiss Cooperation in Moldova.
The first draft of deregulation proposals was the subject of discussion during a meeting of the EBA team with Mrs. Victoria Belous, Minister of Finance. The exercise of mapping the tax procedures and subsequently drafting the legislative package is being carried out by EBA Moldova in collaboration with SAIPH Consulting House and the Economic Council under the Prime Minister.
We thank Mrs. Victoria Belous, Minister of Finance, Mrs. Olga Golban, Director of the SFS, Mr. Igor Lazari, Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Methodology of Taxes and Duties of the SFS, Mr. Cretu Nicolae, and Mr. Artiom Cociu, representative of the State Chancellery, for all their involvement and support in the intention to improve the business climate in the Republic of Moldova.
