On 10th of April 2012, EBA participates in a public debate organized by a Group of PVC Windows Producers.
Michele D'Introno, one of EBA Founders, Head of Trade, Consumer Protection and Quality Infrastructure EBA sector committee and Mariana Rufa, EBA Administrator attended the round table discussion organized by a group of PVC Windows Fair Producers on Problems Existing In PVC Windows Production Industry, Fair Competition and Public Procurement.
EBA has strongly supported implementation of European standards as well as best business management practices in the sector and encouraged the companies to identify gaps in the existing legislation impeding the fair players and try, through different dialogue platforms, to raise awareness on them among the relevant stakeholders. One of these platforms might be the EBA Trade sector committee aimed at screening problems in existing legislation based on a sector/industry approach and provide proposals to the Policy Makers. Michele D'Introno has also reminded about the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement to be soon signed by the RM and EU which will commit the country and implicitly different producers of goods and services to become accountable for the quality provided under the standards imposed by EU Directives and Regulations.
