On 30th of March EBA Moldova represented by Alexandra Popa participated at the workshop on Enhancing Export Opportunities for Transnistrian Private Companies. The project is implemented by Oxford Policy Management, funded by the Good Governance Fund.
The purpose of the event consisted in identifying the needs of the private sector in developing and strengthening its activity as entrepreneurs through the diversification of the market outlets, in particular the access to the EU market.
During the event were presented the benefits of DCFTA, applicable regimes in the Transnistrian region, as well as the evolution of foreign trade in Republic of Moldova and the Transnistrian region.
The participants in the seminar were assigned into working groups where they identified the following needs:
- informational support in accessing preferential credits and technical assistance projects;
- developing a roadmap for accessing the EU market (authorizations, certifications, standards, quality infrastructure requirements, veterinary certification etc.);
- establishing cooperation relations with international partners and methods introdcution to negotiation techniques: strategies and methods).
