In the framework of the “Local Civil Society contributes to inclusive and sustainable Economic Development in Moldova” Project, EBA Moldova is looking for a local expert with practical and policy /legal framework related knowledge in the following areas:
- Domestic/transborder trade. EU/Moldova trade
- Food safety procedures in export/import operations
- National barriers to trade, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine (list of social products, simplification of certain customs procedures etc)
The Expert is expected to work with the EBA team by participating at the Prime Minister Economic Council Meetings and also B2G platforms organized within various public authorities relevant ot the above mentioned topics.
The expert will have to identify the issues faced by the private sector and develop recommendations, by adjusting the current legal/normative framework to the EU Acquis Communautaire. If the need be the Expert shall coagulate the necessary recommendations in Policy/Position Papers to be submitted to Local/EU Authorities for consideration
